SKB’s 76 cm 3RS Series Removable Shock Rack Transport cases are available in 3 sizes: 3U, 4U, and 5U. These Shock Racks are lightweight, shockproof, watertight, dustproof, heat- and chemical-resistant—perfect for protecting and transporting your sensitive electronic equipment.

These Static Shock Racks are lightweight, shockproof, watertight, dustproof, heat- and chemical-resistant—ideal for mission-critical deployments in rugged environments.

The inner rack chassis is built of high-strength, lightweight aluminum alloy extrusions with 11-gauge hot-rolled carbon steel rack rails to meet EIA-310 standards. Shock and vibration mitigation is achieved using eight (8) elastomeric isolators rated for a payload range of 18 to 68 kg in the standard configuration. An optional extended payload range of 73 to 136 kg can be accommodated as a special order option—installation by SKB is required. The interior frame and shock system provide adequate sway space for ambient air circulation and effective heat dissipation.

The 3RS 76 cm Series Static Shock Racks are 76 cm deep from rail to rail, with a standard 48 cm rack width per ANSI/EIA-310-C specification. They feature square-hole rack rails to accommodate either #10-32 US standard or 6 mm International standard cage nuts, which are supplied with the cases.

Constructed from LMDP (Linear Medium Density Polyethylene) plastic, the shell meets or exceeds MIL-STD 810H standards. The rugged roto-molded design ensures industry-leading strength and impact resistance. The standard COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) case includes a 5 cm deep front lid and an 11 cm deep rear lid to accommodate rack gear extending beyond 61 cm. Integrated edge casters allow for convenient transport. Molded-in stacking ribs and lugs are designed to stack with both SKB and competitive manufacturers’ cases. Black powder-coated stainless steel hardware is recessed for protection, and 8 comfort grip spring-loaded lift handles allow for ergonomic handling.

Additional features include an automatic pressure relief valve and gasket-sealed lids with integrated lid hangers for convenient operation when the equipment is deployed. Coupling straps are also included for securing racks together when stacked.
